One of these images is not me
Features reflected in glassy sea
She blinks blue eyes towards the light
But I lose her when I chance to follow her sight
How can I tell apart the two
Tears, fears, hopes, for both they're true
My feet touch hers when they move close
Both with blue painted toes
She looks like me but does not feel the same
Has my face but not my name
Her face is sadder, eyes with tears
She collected more wrinkles over the years
I want to tell her it's ok
But I'm not sure what to say
She stares at me while I make up my mind
To turn around, leave her behind
Without me she all but vanishes
I walk away and my absence banishes
My mysterious twin like she was never there
I need for her dark, bitter stare
